DCSRH Core Calendar
Four moving parts, one theory paper you sit when you are ready, and a day job. Set the date you plan to take the Online Theory Assessment and how you like to work, and the run-up below re-times itself around you.
The exam you’re working towards
The Diploma of the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare has four components, and this plan is built for the one you can actually revise for. The Online Theory Assessment (OTA) is 50 single-best-answer questions in one hour, open book, taken online at a time of your choosing — there is no fixed sitting — with a pass mark of 60%. Your first attempt is included in the diploma fee.
The foundation, from now and ongoing. Chip at it in short sessions: the theory here is the same theory the OTA tests, so none of it is wasted.
They depend on a registered trainer and real clinics — line them up early and let them run in the background.
Once the portfolio has done its job, a focused block of question practice consolidates it. That block is the plan below.
The summative finish. Rehearse the stations with the Station Simulator once the theory is solid.
Because the OTA has no fixed sitting, this plan has no assumed date. Pick the day you intend to take it below and the run-up dates itself — nine weeks is comfortable, and it compresses if you have less.
After the OTA — the Assessment Half Day
The diploma finishes with the Assessment Half Day: a circuit of stations that rewards the same theory expressed out loud, with a simulated patient in front of you. Rehearse it with the Station Simulator once the OTA is behind you, and keep every contraception consultation in clinic as live revision — recall the UKMEC category before you check it. Read fitting the DCSRH around a full week.
The week-by-week plan
Week 1 is open as a preview. The rest of the plan is for members.
The focus this week
The UKMEC categories 1–4 and each method’s headline risk. Learn the grid as a set of reasons rather than a table — read learning UKMEC without memorising the grid — and rate yourself in Core Compass before you answer any questions.
The rest of the DCSRH Core Calendar is in the DCSRH package

Every part of the DCSRH track, one click away. Work across them rather than through them — the guide explains it, the tools drill the decision, the bank tests it and the Compass tells you what is left.
